Spiced Turmeric Rice is a quick and healthy recipe to add lots of flavor to your basic white rice. The gorgeous yellow boasts this rice star ingredient, turmeric, while the other spices of ginger, cardamom, and clove play the supporting roles deliciously.
Note: This rice can also be made in rice cooker or instant pot. For Instant pot, decrease liquid from three to two cups. Your rice to liquid ratio should be the same. All other directions and ingredients stay the same. For your rice cooker, follow your normal process for rice to liquid ratio and then stir in other ingredients except for the lime juice, coconut oil, and salt. Season with those after rice is finished cooking just as in the main recipe.
